Jane Detweiler-Sutliffe comes from an educational background where she taught in public and private schools for 24 years. She is very comfortable working with middle school and high school aged students and also welcomes grade school kids of any age. Though many children hesitate when first starting therapy, Jane’s decades long experience will help your child feel comfortable quickly. Whether it be through music or the arts, sports or exercise, play therapy, or just talking about your child’s interests, Jane is committed to connecting with you and your child.

Parenting can be a tricky place for everyone at some point in the journey. If you have reached a challenging moment, please know we are here for you not to judge, but to come alongside. We want you to get back to that place of peace and joy that you once knew again. If you are going through a recent divorce, a newly blended family that’s not blending so well right now, or any other challenge, we’re here to help. Whether your child is facing anxiety, depression, self-harm, anger issues, or any other mental health concerns, please know that we are here to team up with you.

Jane enjoys music, is a Survivor fan, loves to hang out with her family, and loves to be competitive in all types of games!

She is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Michigan, receiving her bachelor’s in music education from Butler University and her Masters of Arts in School Counseling from the school of Counseling Education and Counseling Psychology at Western Michigan University.

Jane is able to accept Blue Cross Blue Shield and Priority Health insurance, as well as individuals looking to pay out-of-pocket.
