Joel Whitney is focused exclusively on kids and family. His passion and expertise lie in his love of kids and getting to know them. Joel excels at making connections with kids and parents and helping them navigate through the frustrations of family life to reach a place of peace and joy. Joel enjoys superheroes, comic books, and spending time with his wife and four kids. An avid Backpacker and self-proclaimed Expert on Captain America, Joel loves the adventure of parenting.
He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan, received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Grand Valley State University and his Master of Arts in Counseling at Spring Arbor University. Joel has been working with kids since 2001 and has worked in both hospital settings and outpatient practice. Joel also offers supervision for Limited License Counselors.
